2024 DALLAS KIPS BAY SHOW HOUSE
LE SALON DU CHAMPAGNE
An ode to traditional French design with nods to Asian influences, “Le Salon du Champagne” is ready to greet you at the 2024 Dallas Kips Bay Show House. The living room seamlessly blends luxe elegance with a warm welcome, transporting you right into a Champagne Salon in France.
Although Trish has been involved since the inaugural Dallas Show House in 2020, this is the first time she has worn two hats: both as a room designer and a vice chair. Five years ago, Trish designed the “Son’s Bedroom” in the Preston Hollow Show House. This year, Trish is thrilled to harness a completely different facet of her talents, while maintaining her integral sophistication and elegance.
No detail is left untouched- including a show house debut for Gracie’s “Poppies” wallpaper, Kravet Couture's newest fabric collaboration with Joseph Altuzarra, a custom-built mantle, and a fire screen designed by Trish’s son. Trish masterfully creates an invitation to take a seat and just stay a while- a poised, charming setting fit for enjoying company, playing a round of bad gammon, listening to music, and sipping some bubbles. This cultivation of a welcoming environment is a common thread woven in all of Trish’s work.
“This shimmery room feels like stepping into a glass of champagne. The wallpaper is as effervescent as the cocktails and conversation.” -Veranda
“Trish Sheats…gave a layering master class with her space: a blue and white salon.” -Texas Monthly
“A stylish sanctuary that invites women to unwind, socialize, and enjoy leisure time in a beautifully curated environment.” -The Glam Pad
DESIGN PROCESS
Initial inspiration began to take shape when Trish received a call from a cherished vendor partner, Kravet. They informed Trish of their work with French American luxury fashion designer, Joseph Altuzarra, to release an exclusive textile and wallcovering collaboration. Upon viewing the collection, Trish knew it had a home in her room at the Show House. The opportunity felt harmonious when Trish found the perfect complement in a dreamy Gracie wallpaper. Unbridled creativity flowed as she artfully selected each detail to bring to life Le Salon du Champagne- a celebration of traditional French design with nods to Asian influences.
